First off, I give you this fabulous picture from last weekend's Queens 10k. It seriously cracked me up for 5 minutes. I think this is what I looked like when I realized we weren't getting medals.

I'm super excited about date night this week. I get an entire day (conflicting schedules can be such a bummer) AND it involves a Cirque show. After Totem was here in April, I was sure we were going to have to wait another year or so for one to come our way again, but Nope! Quidam is coming! This will be our first time visiting the new Barclays Center in Brooklyn AND it gives me an excuse to go to Target. Wins all around! Can't wait to tell you all about it.
And if you haven't registered for the running partner and my Banana's Splits virtual race benefiting LLS, you should :) We are looking to place our medal order by the end of the month, so definitely get registered soon if you want to get your own Banana split medal and help an amazing cause!

DeleteUnless you're an anomaly like the "really photogenic runner" that had his picture circulating online last yet, there is no such think as a good race photo. Ask Katherine. Super jealous of you and B's Cirque show. I'm sure B think's there's a circus at home on a daily basis, especially when you're in training ... so this'll be a nice change of pace.
