My triumphant return!

To the gym. One week with nothing more active than walking to and from the subway will do wonders for you. Mentally, I needed to run off serious stress. Physically, I was struggling.
And today my abs are sore. Let's hope from all the core engaging I was doing in proper running form ;)
How long can you go without working out in some form before it gets to you?

  2. Depending on how much I am stuffing my face, 3 days to a week, and then it is time to get it moving before things get out of hand.

  3. Holy man! I haven't ran since my race on Sunday (for one reason or another) and I'm DYING over here! I'm looking forward to my race on Saturday. Is that weird?

  4. After 2 days of no running I feel MAJOR guilt. I hate it. I mean who is saying I HAVE to run. Nobody. So why do I feel guilty?? It's silly. And if I skip swim class I feel like I'm letting down the old ladies in class, so then I feel guilty again. And then if I don't race for a while - like every 3 weeks almost - I get twitchy and irritable if I think about it. Running is just so positive! ;)
