3 things.

And for the 3rd week in a row, I am sick. I have succeeded in getting a sinus infection this time (which isn't that surprising) and am now on my 2nd round of antibiotics. You can't make this stuff up. I just can't win, people. I would like to thank this stupid excuse for New York Spring weather. It's extremely frustrating to not have a day where your entire body is functioning in a moderately normal fashion in almost a month. Please ignore my whining. I'm trying to keep it to a minimum.

I really should've put money on how fast the inaugural Minnie 10k was going to sell out. 7 hours for a 10k is quite impressive. On the other hand, Dopey and the 5k totally blind sighted me. I definitely under estimated the power of an inaugural for that one. Hope everyone who wanted to, got into the races of their choice. Even though I have a stronger word than "Dopey" for all my friends attempting the challenge, I'm excited to cheer them on!

A new TV show in the instant queue? Revenge. Anyone else a fan? Wow. Is this action packed full of drama. The entire 1st season had enough going on to keep you on the edge of your seat every episode. I'm only half way through catching up in season 2, but I'm slightly annoyed that I can pick out the formula (get ahead in the plan in one episode, hit an obstacle, fall back for 2). Not even going to lie, I have had nightmares surrounding this show. I know, it's sad. Don't judge me. I don't know how much more my anxiety can take, but I'm proud of myself to branching out.

How's your week? Sign up for any new races?

Did you enter the Journey Bar giveaway yet?

  1. Boo for being sick again. You've had a rough couple of weeks. I'm kind of glad the Minnie 10K sold out as fast as it did because it removed the temptation to sign up for it. I see the ads for Revenge and think I would probably love this show but I can't get attached to another show!! Although maybe during the summer when nothing is on, I'll check it out.

No new race sign ups this week for me, although there is one I have my eye on...

    Feel better soon!!

  2. I want to hear what you're referring to me and my fellow Dopeys (or is the plural Dopei) as. Do tell.

And how have we not bonded over REVENGE yet? I want to be Victoria when I grow up.

    1. I'm sure you can use your imagination :)

Of course you'd want to be her. I'm all Team Emily. She's better at the game.

  3. Revenge is awesome! I got behind on season 2, so I think I'm just going to dvd it and have a marathon of it. I think she is just so pretty. I find myself not always watching for the story line, but instead watching because she's so freaking pretty -- and I was a HUGE Everwood fan. I mean I own all of Everwood and still can watch and cry through every episode. I'm such a dork.

Shawn told me to start saving for Dopey 2015 now. Once I have enough set aside for the race, hotel and airfare I'm allowed to quit my job. Let the saving begin!!!

    1. Do it as a marathon- I think if I had to wait to see the next episode (like I am now) I'd never watch it. Too much is going on to remember from week to week. She is super pretty.

Why would you quit your job?! YaY! for Dopey 2015!
