ToT10Miler Team runDisney post

Hope everyone had a great holiday weekend. I'm still recovering and I cannot wait until Friday; I will be done with antibiotics and hopefully start feeling normal. Becoming a productivity member of society is proving to be a long and slow process. When the commute to work takes it out of you, it's hard to remember you're supposed to be an endurance athlete. Speaking of, glad I'm not training for anything right now. I did sign up for a Classtivity Passport, so as soon as I feel up to taking new classes, I will definitely let yall know all the hilarity that will ensure.

In other news, my post about the runDisney Tower of Terror 10 Miler is up on the Team runDisney Blog if you want to check that out. My other recaps of the race can be found here:

The runDisney website is showing it's over 50% full. If you're thinking about running, my vote is you should. They moved it to the 1st weekend in October this year, so I'm hoping the humidity won't be a factor last year. In that case, how can you not want to run this one? I think it's the perfect time of year- Halloween AND The Food and Wine Festival. But I might be a little bias :)

What's your favorite holiday/ time of year to visit Disney?

  1. I am so STINKING bummed they moved it to the first weekend in October because it pretty much means I'm out. Grr, stupid work. Except, you know, it pays for my vacations. Haha! My fave time is a toss up between Halloween and Christmas. The best is the first week-ish of November when you get the last little bit of Halloween and the first part of Christmas.

Ugh - hopefully you are feeling better. But definitely take it easy.

  3. This past year was the first time I've gotten to go down to Disney during the holiday season since I was a kid and I just loved it! We did the Christmas Party, Osbourne Lights and saw all the gingerbread houses, it was great! I'm so glad we got to go this year since with my husbands work schedule we'll most likely not be able to go that time of year again.
